The End of Sorrow

by Daryl   Jan 11, 2007

This morning i caused
the death of love
I murdered it in ice cold blood

She had forgotten me
had forgotten the rules
The left,
the right,
the left behind.

And from behind
I plunged a blade
Hooks, teeth -spikes!
Then held her in a lover's embrace

A gasp-ah!
and then she fell
The loss of feeling rushed to her head
A thump, she hit the floor, and there lay
Dead.

The deed once done,
left me with no remorse
No tears were rushing to my eyes
For love was gone
and so beginning was the end of sorrow
heartbreak
cheaters
players
haters
lovers
Gone.

All that remained
A blood stain upon my chest.
