Don't swing me so high

by Daryl   Jan 11, 2007

A break in the seams
Of bleach white-washed dreams
Leaks a ghost of a scream
a cry.

Resistance the drug
Failure my high
Bleeding wrists, blood puddles
my sign.

I knew it was me
Who let you fall down
An angel, too desperate
to lie.

Black-winged caresses
Do fall on my face
Forgiveness is something
I'll try.

Stop giving me hope
Don't swing me so high.
