The Lies

I took your hand
You stole my heart
I never knew
Where this would start

I thought love moved slow
But in a day i fell in love
All I could say
Is you were an angel from above

But then you started working
I though that we would last
But as you worked more and more
It all seemed like the past

Starting to fall apart
I cried myself to sleep
But then you broke my heart
The one i had let you keep

Tearing it to pieces
Right before my eyes
It is then I realized
My whole life was based on lies

As the tears rolled down my cheeks
And as they reached my chin
I figured
I would never win

Never would I love
Never would I find the one
The one who will love me
And tell me that I won
