Suicide

by Beautifully Disfigured   Jan 12, 2007

You tried to leave this world behind
But you're no good at suicide
You want to leave the ones who've hurt you so
But you're no good at suicide

You sat on the bathroom floor
And once again failed at suicide
You were raised christian, believed in God, taught that it's a sin
But you try and try again and fail at suicide

You listen to the music play
Scream in your agony
Ideas flash into your head
They wouldn't even care if you were dead

Rope hangs from the tree
You climb atop the chair, wanting to succeed
Put the rope around your neck, take a deep breath, and jump
For once you didn't fail at suicide
