Ride of Life

by John Bowlby   Jan 13, 2007

The ride starts going,
No time for a stop,
Wind's strong, hair's blowing,
As we reach the top.

Down the other side,
Hands up in the air,
On this magic ride,
No signs of despair.

Look at the smiles,
Have a great time,
Traveling miles,
Soon rings a chime.

Rail starts to shake,
Parts fall apart,
Ride starts to break,
Excites the heart.

End of the ride,
One last goodbye,
Time to subside,
It's time to die.
