To a Fallen Angel

by Tian Tian   Jan 13, 2007

Some things are meant to be left behind . . .

Some are not . . .

Somethings are better forgotten . . .

Some are not . . .

Hold nothing against me . . .

And I shall do so unto you . . .

Unshackle your inner benevolence . . .

And be an angel so true . . .

A sin in the past hunts us both . . .

A sin that remains up till now . . .

Forgiveness, an impossible fixation . . .

Letting go we don't know how . . .

However, I'm ready to see you through . . .

If ever so, my love I'll accept . . .

For I am just worth half of your pains . . .

I shall bow to it with objections so few . . .

The laughter, the tears . . .

We were so free then, my dear . . .

The throbbing, the bliss . . .

But now we cannot do as we please . . .

Those days and those times . . .

Were reduced to mere memories of the past . . .

Your songs, and your words . . .

Will I get to hear them at long last?

I wish I could hold your hand . . .

And feel its warmth . . .

I wish I could be with you . . .

And protect you from harm . . .
