Rain

by Lindsay Looney   Jan 13, 2007

Black and gray clouds take the light off my face,
lightly sprinkling on me, i stand in one place.
Falling harder and faster to the ground,
soaked from head to toe, still dancing around.
Flooding streets and making puddles,
big black clouds in a huddle.
Warm and pouring dripping through my hair,
still falling without a care.
Slick and shiny still falling on my skin,
making me feel free deep within.
