I Trusted You

We used to be such good friends,
I knew i could always count on you,
Always there,dealing with boys & lies,
Heartache and pain.
I trusted you.

You knew I loved him, you knew how I felt,
We sat up all night talking about how much i wanted to be with him,
And you said, \"Don\'t worry, we\'ll get him back for you.\"
I trusted you.

The next day, he came to visit us,
You said, \"I\'ll go out and talk to him.\"
The two of you were gone for hours,
I knew something more than talking was going on.
I trusted you.

You came back that night, and looked me in the eyes, and said,
\"I promise nothing happened.\"
You lied straight to my face, smiling the whole time.
I trusted You.

Now I know, 2 months down the road...\"nothing happened\" Yea Right.
You had sex with him that night and were too much of a coward to tell me to my face.
I trusted You.

Now you send me comments and messages, expecting everything to
be fine.
Well, it doesn\'t work like that.
Our friendship can never be the same, and I hope you know that.
