Happy as can be

by Hunter Scott   Jan 14, 2007

What do you say to a little mother, who murdered her mother in a dancing red prison? She has sharp teeth, flat round eyes, and fiery round curls to make her face seem delicate.

What do you say to a Chinese man, who hides in the shelter of illiteracy to escape man's expectations? He has a long black pigtail, and long silver words to braid it.

What do you say to a shepherd of men, who has lost a lamb to the wolves of reality?
He hides in lies of human suffering, while his serrated green feelers entwine billions.

What do you say to a man of the future, who went to college, and created a monster?
He eyes were full of electricity before; now he closes them to escape the pain in others.

What do you say to a seventy year old rapist, who has paid for his crimes many times over? His wife and children and grandchildren now see him occasionally in jail.

What do you say to someone who is truly happy?
He cannot exist, as he has no one to talk to.
