A New Beginning

by amanda   Jan 15, 2007

Nervousness, stomach pain.
anticipation on what's to gain.
after Church, it's face-to-face.
no more stalling, it's now the time&place.

Seth takes Chris in a room, i see in the corner of my eye.
knowing i'm next to be in there, i'm feeling i might die.
he comes&says " Amanda, come with me ".
as we walk up to the door i say " this is unnecessary ".

i look at Chris, our eyes meet.
we both look down, somewhat discrete.
open up in prayer, a good start.
then, the climax, the hardest part.

Seth said i had to explain what i felt inside.
i started talking&the words came out smooth like a sleigh ride.
then Chris's turn to speak his mind.
nicely said, no feelings that were intertwined.

he ended up saying he was sorry how things were in such a doubt.
&how we could be friends again if that's what i was about.
ended in prayer, there's no longer a dislikement for eachother that'll cause unneeded sinning.
a renewed friendship, A New Beginning.
