Help Me Prayer

Please help me fight my past,
Lord, help me get away,
Leave behind these tears,
I cry each and every day,

Lord, take me by the hand,
Or sweep me off my feet,
Take away my troubles,
Help me get them beat,

Leave them in the dust,
Worry not for a change,
Rid of all these problems,
New but not so strange,

Lord, clear my mind of sadness,
Of all this anger, and pain,
Desert all these feelings,
Driving me insane,

Lord, I know you’re not a miracle maker,
And you have sent me all the luck to send,
For without your love and care,
I would loose it in the end!
