I am drowning in tears,
My love I guess has all drained away,
I am in pain and hurt all the time,
It is growing each and everyday,

I am drowning in regret,
Because my past still haunts me,
I want to know what I did wrong,
But you wont give me the key,

I am drowning in love,
With fear and loneliness right beside me,
I am afraid to look into your eyes,
Because of the weakness you would see,

I am drowning in darkness,
My candle has burned out,
My heart has turned to ice,
