I liked that poem it had a nice flow to it. and i understand when you say it was a letter to yourself. my poetry sometimes feels as if my soul is writing it to get through to my ego. the only thing i'd change is"That love truly is real." to - that love is truly real
not much of a change but it keeps the flow of hard and soft words better

Wow wow wow..this is exactly the poem I needed to read, I can relate to pretty much every word of this. This was beautiful, and VERY well written. Every rhyme and ever line fit together perfectly, I could not find one flaw. Great work.
