You were always the person I'd never expect,
To leave when I was a hopeless rec.

You were always the one to take away my pain,
The only person who would keep me sane.

We were so close, it gave me a scare,
Because if you left, I wouldn't be able to bare.

We had our moment when we first met,
Our friendship stayed which I don't regret.

And then it all changed which gave me a fright,
We started to hate, we started to fight.

The reason for it I still don't know,
Maybe it was just time for you to go.

Every time I'd see you, you would turn away,
I don't see why you just couldn't stay.

Why can't you say or scream what you feel,
Time with not talking to you? It doesn't seem real.

You usually have phases but they don't last this long,
Us not being friends just feels so wrong.

You made breaking up our friendship seem like such an easy task,
I thought you really cared, but you're just another guy behind a mask.
