Saving a Broken Soul

by Kayla   Jan 16, 2007

You kiss the lips
Locking away her tragic past
Entering a world
With her heart captured fast

Grasp her remaining hand
Cold and worn, yet innocently sweet
The cure to her heart
This moment your two souls meet

The burning fire once flaming
Remains bitter ashes scattered cross bare floors
Light the match she's been seeking
Create a new love, healing old soars

Nothing more but care and confide
What she's needed all along
Your laughter and sweet caress
Holds her right where she belongs.
