Shattered

by Jade Shadow Rose   Jan 17, 2007

Shattered to oblivion,
Millions of pieces,
A deformed heart broken,
Dead to the eyes,
But still feels the pain.
It's dying words,
No one would hear.
Admitting the truth,
That was hidden from itself.
Of it's true lover,
Of the burden it had,
Having been forced to leave her.
Shattered into pieces,
Scattered into the abyss.
It cries out, for anyone to find.
The only louder sound there,
Is it's muffled screams of agony.
Calling her name, it is afraid.
Pretending to live, shattered,
With the pain of loss.
Shattered, it died,
For that which brought it life.
