Just Listen

It was day by day.
If not, moment by moment.
All you could do was take on as much weight as you can bear.
If you're lucky, there's someone close by to shoulder the rest.
So, what happens if you lost that person?
How can you deal with so much pain if you don't even have someone to talk to?
I try to be strong.
But, there is so much built up inside of me.
I want to let it all out, but there is no one to turn to.
Running away is what I want to do.
But, leaving my problems behind will only make them worse.
No one around me understands.
And, that makes everything even harder.
I just need to talk to you.
I need to let it all out.
I want to cry but, I only hold it in.
There is not much time left.
My breakdown can happen at any moment.
Just this once;
Can you please just listen?
