Tear drops

by Carley   Jan 19, 2007

Tear drops run down my cheek
The taste of salt on my lips so sweet
Cold and alone my heart freshly broken
Tears streaming from my eyes, my sleeves are soakin

I never knoew i could hurt so much
I didn't expect it, they were my crutch
The only person i thought i could trust
Ripped my heart to shreds and made tears from lust

I can't stop the tears that fall so quickly
The look on my face, I look so sickly
Life is to short, and then you get old
In that short time your heart becomes cold

My cheeks become raw from my salty tears
I'm starting to live my very worst fears
I'm alone and can't speak
I'm getting way to weak

Tear drops run down my cheek
It's only the truth i seek
They fall like rain in salty streams
I never would have guessed in my wildest dreams

You left me here all alone
With only tear drops to call my own
Only the sound of quiet dripping
Tear drops from my cheeks keep slipping
