Handle With Care

Eyes wide and unblinking,
Her gaze fixed on the moon.
It's happening too fast.
She's falling too soon.
The wall is there for a reason.
She's been building it for so long.
It's there to guard her heart.
You're going about this all wrong.
This wall, so cold and strong,
It has a rusted key.
But you just come crashing down,
Like waves of the sea.
Please just remember,
As you break through the stone,
She has many a reason,
Her heart rests on a guarded throne.
It is fragile and soft,
Shielded from the world's bright glare.
If you must capture it as your own,
Please handle it with care.
