Make it Go Away

I sit alone in a corner closing my eyes tight
trying to make everything go away
no matter how tight i close my eyes the sounds of my pain are still all around me
I can't escape I'm in a tunnel with no light
I stumble as I try to find my footing
I scream hoping that my screams will drown out the noise but the noise is still there. I scream till my throat bleeds I'm deeper in the tunnel now and there is still no light. I Finlay collapse and rock back and froth screaming in my mind "Make it go away, make it go away!" I stop moving and I realize there is no way out I just close my eyes and just lay there paralyzed motionless still closing my eyes as tight as I can still hoping everything will go away.
