We've done our fair share

by Sarah   Jan 19, 2007

A solid heart, so quickly broken
Becomes the token that you bear
A wound from which your body bleeds
Becomes the passion that you share
The proud hung metal which you flaunt
You use only for attention
You wish for purpose in your life
A strive for your redemption
Deep down we don't really care
The love we've poured is our fair share.

this poem is slightly incomplete..I dont think i'll ever finish it though

An interesting piece. It does seem a little incomplete, but it is still a very nice poem. Great job on it.
