Lost Love

by Carol Chambers   Apr 1, 2004

I smile at you with loving eyes
Tears hiding broken hearted lies,
A broken heart who's lost it's soul
Waiting sadly for a voice to call
That voice will never again sound,
But deep in my heart love's still profound,
Your photographed face is all i own
Yet I'm keeping faith but still alone,
Although you've died and left me here
I sometime tremble for loss
and when i die, our light will shine,
We'll be together and all will be fine,
We'll sing our song and play our tune
and embrace in the moon,
But until that day,I regret my love
We'll have to wait until my END
