My Guardian Angel

by Megamidget3   Jan 20, 2007

My dear sweet child,
do not cry for my death,
for now I have passed on
to a better life,
for death is not the last step,
it is the final step home,
and, although I might be home,
I am still watching over you,
just as before, only now,
I am your guardian angel.
My dear sweet child,
do not forget me
because I am still here,
watching over you,
guarding you.
I will always be in your heart,
no matter what,
just remember, I am your guardian angel,
for all time and eternity

(dedicated to C.J.'s mom, who passed away the morning of January 17th...remember this poem, C.J., and you will never feel alone)
