You packed your bags,
Left me sitting on your empty bed,
In my princess dress,
And mommys dress up shoes,
Kissing me on the forehead,
You brushed my hair out of my eyes,
I knew I wouldnt be seeing you for a while,
But you told me youd be back soon,
I looked up at you,
A scared little girl,
Asking you,
Daddy why are you leaving again?
You told me Id understand later,
As you got up to leave,
I clung to your shirt crying,
Begging you not to leave,
Not again,
You pry my hands off of you,
You tell me you love me,
That I need to be strong for you and mommy,
Im going with you Daddy,
I ran into my room,
Grabbed my favorite baby doll,
But before I got back you were gone,
As you pulled out of the driveway,
I just stared out of the window,
Watching you leave,
Never looking back once,
Out in our driveway I sat for hours,
Waiting for you to come home,
Where did you go?
