Breaking free

All she ever wanted was to break free from this contained person who she was pretending to be. She wanted to become something greater than what she was. A person who people would remember for her friendliness and how she, knew how to have a good time. But the problem is for all this time she thought so much about what others thought about her so hardly any words escaped her. She thought it would be safer that way but she was wrong people started not giving a damn about her and it hurt but it was true she had become boring. But did they realize why she was this way? Maybe to protect herself from fully realizing, that she had nobody to confide to nobody that cared. But no matter because once she realized how cruel the majority of people can be she didnt have the heart to care. She decided to stand up for herself and become her true self whom hardly anybody had seen for so, so long. Because for those many years she became good at pretending, trying to make herself believe that this was her destiny. Faking day after day and pretending she was ok, by laughing and smiling but doing not a thing else. She hid behind a mask that looked nothing close to the real her but now the mask is off and showing the real her and no one can stop it and frankly I dunno anybody that wants to. But thats not a problem of hers because she believes that what she is today (still growing) but its the real deal and people can take it or leave it. And she has now realized that true friends stick by you no matter how you act. But this girl she aint changing for no one, shes a golden girl.
