You came into my life like mist in the sun,
Telling me you just want to touch.
You swore we were soul mates and that you've found the one,
Acknowledgment you needed so much.
You told me that you think of things,
And asked if I think of it too.
I told you that I'm just a human being,
And that I could never be true.
You told me all your deepest secrets and admitted that I have your trust,
You made me believe once more in friendship and helped me to speak openly about what I disgust.
In more than one way you've kept me safe from going totally insane,
You see through all my wacky weirdness and assist me with laughing at pain.
You call me a treasure and believe in my heart regardless of my actions,
When I pull away you pull me back and take my eyes off all distractions.
You remind me of God and His graceful giving and ask a million questions with me,
When I give up and I through it aboard, you open my eyes to see.
Patiently you wait for me whilst I struggle with life and its chores.
You never forget and always insist that we are an incredible force.
You admire my life and hate unfairness and treat me like vulnerable ice,
Your calm my soul and reassure me that I'm whole and remind me to play nice.
You believe in me every day, give me a peace of your mind and hope to have me one day,
