The two-faced shadow that follows me
never allows me to be
what i really am inside
for it only lets me hide
hide away in my tears
that don't always surface from my fears
my double-sided life never allows me to know
just how much, my friends really say i glow
my shadow hides my evil twin
always revealing her sinister grin
she'll never tell me it's alright
only creating more and more of the fright
though she holds me hand when i am scared
she knows that i will never dare
to let go, fearing the unknown
terrified of the things she has shown
but when she let's go i am even more fearful, because now
i am alone
