Where Do I Belong?

This world doesn't seem real
i'm seeing it, hearing it, smelling & tasting it
But I'm not here.
I'm floating barely 2 inches above the ground
But I can't dig my heels in the ground.
There's no solid foundation.
I hover somewhere in an alternate, parallel realm.
Sometimes the fog thins
And I almost grasp the concept
But not for long.
What's wrong with me?
I'm not here nor there
Don't know where I belong
Its just so wrong.
I feel like a ghost
Somewhere in limbo.
Am I dead already?
Or do I stand a chance.
Lost without purpose
So I play a lonely song
'til i find where i belong.
