Happy Birthday Jeffrey

by Jess   Jan 22, 2007

In a game of twenty questions
I have revealed some of my obsessions
All involve someone amazing and sweet
Someone who makes my life complete
All are things shared between him and I
Just simple things like the stars in the sky
But to us those stars mean so much more
and we look at them in a light in which non have before
The ocean, skates, tigers, hands, lips and all
represent the love in which we both fall
So now is time to play again my dear
Twenty questions to guess my gift for you this year
A gift to celebrate the very day you were born
I hope you use it until it is beaten and worn
It is just something to continue our fun
The sentimental and special gifts are soon to come
So lets get to the game so you can open your gift
I hope you don't mind that it is somewhat a thrift
It is concrete, you now own it, and yes I own one too
Yes this gift can be shared between me and you
You won't like it at first but on you it will grow
Take your time and show only what you want to show
Have you guessed it yet?
You usually need hints in this game
But its okay, I love it, no need to feel shame
I will give you one more
And then you will guess it I'm sure
You have seen me laugh, eat, sleep and drink
Now it is my turn don't you think?
I am finished with wishing, hoping, and scheming
I would like to just once see you dreaming
Okay now take your guess and open the box
And have a birthday that completely kicks rocks
Take as long as you like to make my wish come true
And remember Jeffrey
That I'll always love you
