Angels smiles

The reds streaks among the black,
Woven apon a beautiful face,
Stolen glances fill my eyes,
An angel among the human race,

The odds that I would see such ,beauty,
In such a common place,
Marked in memory, your dark eyes,
That contrast your angelic face,

I sit besides you, as envy grows
Towards your friends, who hold your gaze,
Unknown to them, or ever you,
Hoping my patience pays,

I cannot attain more then friendship,
My vow I have given to another,
But even friendship can be close,
Close friends share bonds forever,

But my bear heart, bearing itself,
To more then one is straining.
So I drift away, into darkest shadow.
Here for all those who have tamed me.

At will I bend, I would anyway,
At your word, I'd do anything.
Simply to be thought of more then once,
By those I hold above all else.

I am hopeless, sometimes pathetic.
Whipped I am called by others while,
In my mind I have no purpose,
Over making my angels smile.

    HEY IM COMING HOME!!! TO LIVE my mom is signing the papers and then on June 10th Ill be there permently. Im coming home and am so incredably excited.

    Hey very nice way of describing a situation. I find that you are an amazing poet whom writes from the depth of his heart. I hope that someday my poems will atleast amount to half of yours but until then...

    I will sit in the dark corner of my mind
    Crying for the loss I have fallen upon
    My heart screams for your embrace once more
    Like the time I watched you out the door.

    Josh, your a great guy and I only hope that you will let me watch you progress through life, even if it is only watching. I hope someday you have a family that will respect you and other people as you respect them now.
