Shatter Me

Shatter Me
Category: Writing and Poetry

The stained glass window shows you yourself.
You can see your own eyes staring back.
But its not just you that you can see.
Im just your mirror image.
Go on and shatter me.

You stare and stare long and hard until you lose your sight.
You stay strong for so long, but you lose the fight.
Just broken and left alone for everyone to see.
All I am is your mirror image.
So go on. Shatter me.

Little peices of ourselves glitter across the floor.
All the little shards arent needed anymore.
Why keep it up when you know that you can be set free?
Im just your mirror image.
Do it. Shatter me.
