Do you remember?

by emptysole   Jan 23, 2007

They sing a song ,
to the light tune
they rest the passed body
to the depths of the earth,
were it will lay to rot,
with the head stone that reads,
"always remembered"
but this is soon forgotten,
with in just years,
no one remembers you after time!
When was the last time,
you thought of your great grandparent?
and what was there name?
do you now your greats?
this was only around,
50 years ago they were here,
for this is not sad,
but this is life,

Thats a really good poem. I liked the way it was fast moveing yet you explained everything well. My favourite lines where the last two "for this is not sad,
    but this is life,"
    Excellent job well done!!!
