Remember when you were a kitten and I tucked you in every night? Remember when I'd say goodnight? Remember when I held you tight? I thought everything would be alright.

Remember when I gave you your teddy? We tackled it down and around the yard. Remember when we had the old feather quilt, in the shade, under a tree? We stayed there, asleep for 3 hrs snuggled up together, cozy and warm.

Remember when I'd give you a bath? And make sure you were dry? Remember when it was winter and we sat infront of the fire? We used to throw pebbles at the tree you'd sit under, just so you'd chase them and make us laugh.

Remember when I'd come home from school and plonk you on the couch? Thats when this will kill me. Remember when you'd chase the blue ironing mat, just coz there was a tiny hole in it? Remember when you pounced in mid-air at me? That is now where you rest in peace.

Remember our last goodbye? I almost gave up catching you. I'll always remember for 7 months, I had a best friend. Now remember...I'll always love you...
