Freedom From Death

by Jon   Jan 24, 2007

One day, while walking by the stream,
I suddenly heard someone scream,
Looking to the left and then to the right,
The girl who screamed was luckily in sight,
Then i saw a figure near her, knife held tight,
The girl's eyes were so wide with fright,
That's when i realized that the figure was Death,
But for this girl, I'd fight until my last breath,
And when i looked at her, she made me believe,
I never knew I had such strength in me,
So we fought, and then death finally fell,
I had just saved this girl from a nightmarish hell,
So now she's back, living in the light,
And I live on, waiting for my next fight.

    WHOA!
Man this definetly is an inspirational poem. Really amazing. I think when bad times come rolling along, they bring out the best in all of us, and we suddenly become capable of things we did not know we were capable of doing. Again great job at this poem.
