Happily ever after

by XxrejectxX   Jan 25, 2007

Oh let the sun shine down upon your face
feel the grass upon your skin, just like lace
oh can you feel the cool summer breeze
gently flying pass the trees

oh can you hear the river flow
trickling passed the trees, row by row
can you feel the sand beneath your feet
every one of natures gifts; each so unique

the clouds passing by, oh so gracefully
the world has so much to offer, so much to see
oh see passed the buildings and passed the streets
passed the miles and miles of stone and concrete

forget the industries and all the greed
forget the wars we've caused
and the blood we bleed
life shouldn't be about the money we earn, and the bills we pay
no, it should be about laughter, love and play

we shouldn't stress over what politics say
no, we should live life day by day
oh forget the war, forget the hate
remember love, remember fate

what happened to smiles, what happened to laughter?
oh what ever happened to happily ever after.
