Once We Were Friends

Once we were friends of the very best kind.
We spent all day together and I could call you mine.
Once we were friends never apart.
We would say goodby each day but were always linked by heart.
Once we were friends always side by side.
And through the sky, I felt I could fly.
Once we were friends then I f u c ked up.
Because it felt to me life was a half empty cup.
Once we were friends now its my fault we are not.
The promise I made, I forgot.
Once we were friends but all friends have to say goodbye.
I didnt think it would happen to us, I always thought you would be by my side.
Once we were friends but now you are gone.
Im sorry my friend I left you hanging on.
Once we ere friends and now its over.
And I will be missing you forever.
