Intense Snowstorm

by amira   Jan 26, 2007

It fell upon the earth with great intensity
Gracefully falling like angel wings.
Not caring where it laid its head
Itâ??s so pretty and white along with other things.

I looked out and saw the icicles fall
The sound like a drummers beat.
I went outside and witnessed a great scene
Two icicles fell on my feet.

Back in my house to escape the frigid cold
I wanted to go play in the snow.
I lost my hat and scarf so I couldnâ??t go outside
Where my things were I really donâ??t know.

Looked out to see the snow caped streets
Down it came like tornadoes or rain.
A blizzard was coming, and itâ??s coming fast
Destroying things like a metal crane.

The last flurries began to fall
Soon the cool brisk winds slowly died down.
The neighborhood was hushed as the last icicle fell
Everything was quiet, not making a sound.
