Nightmares and Dreams

I had a dream the other night,
About you and me.
I dreamt that we where walking together
Hand in hand.
Our laughter floating on the wind. The place,
I don�t remember.
We where together and that�s the only
Thing that matters.
Then I awoke. What a nightmare I was in.
To a nightmare, where we no longer spoke.
Where laughter is no longer heard.
Where both our hands are empty
And we feel each others loss.
And we as friends are no
Longer are as one.
I wish for sleep. For in my sleep that�s
Where we play.
Where we can be the best of friends again.
Where laughter is heard. Where the nightmare is
Only a dream.
Where we are together,
Walking hand in hand.
