When an Angel Came

There was a girl once, such a poor girl

And she was all alone

Abandoned by everyone, she had

No place to call home.

That girl was crying so sullenly one day

She looked just so forlorn

When out of the darkness an angel appeared

And gave her someone to call her own.

Then she met him and he met her

So there a friendship began

For the girl, no longer on her own

Away from torture, she ran.

He accepted her and she was thrilled

For now a true friend she had!

This same girl who was abandoned

Had no more reason to be so sad.

They found each other and they grew together

The girl found refuge in a friend

And now with help from her loving angel,

She could live on till the very end.
