I miss you

My life hasn't been the same,
since you've been gone.
music has no melody,
but somehow theres still a song.

once our relationship was picture perfect,
i couldn't have asked for anything more,
but slowly we drifted apart,
and my heart simply tore.

everyday i think of you,
and i wonder what it would be like if we were still together.
but i know we have no chance,
at being together forever.

i cry myself to sleep,
just thinking of the times that we spent together,
and how we might not
do these things again, ever.

The only thing that keeps me going,
is the fact that you were in my life.
just imagine where I'd be,
without you by my side.

if only i could go back in time,
we'd be happier,
things would be easier,
and we would still be together.
