Take Me Away

by Craig Risi   Jan 29, 2007

Take it all away, I want it no more
I choose to forget, all that has been given
A burdened I received, now turns to gore
Punishment is my belief, regret I am living
For my sacrifice is my demise
Living in this chosen life I hold
My conquest is my own compromise
As all around me begins to fold
Death is sweet, a scent so beautiful
Sweeter than life, which seems so hateful
I journey on, in endless suffering
Longing to forget this hate I'm roughing
For joy has left my broken body
My soul is left to live with nobody
No longer can I live this dream
For all the more my mind begins to scream
Release me from my burdens today
So you can please take my pains away
