This has happened so many times
i should be used to this
so why is it the same feeling from before
ain't nothing different, there ain't no twist
but now i look at myself once more
the image before me comes alive
now i can see why i was so awfully denied
like many others i am not new
just the same average kid around
do the same thing,kick it with he same crew
maybe not trying something new has left me down
every new chance of opportunity
i take the same steps
one would think that i would have learned
being scared to try something new
i act if i have actually gained and earned
in truth that is just how i am
like many i have seen and thought of
have deceived me so quickly and unthoughtfully
so just stop lieing to me and tell me the truth
just tell me the truth.
