Killing Me From The Inside Out

by Kathleen   Jan 30, 2007

If you really loved me,
You wouldn't have left me,
Standing alone,
While you left with her.

If you really loved me,
Should you have made me feel worthless,
Bring me to the top,
Just to watch me fall?

If you had really loved me,
You wouldn't have done those things,
You wouldn't have enjoyed watching me cry.
You will never be able to hurt me again.

Once again, I feel the hard and painful emotions in this poem. I sense a breakup somewhere because your poems are just so emotional and sincere, as if the words are coming straight from your mouth. Awesome job!
