Breakable

by Perfect Facade   Jan 30, 2007

Hollow inside,
I just can't fight,
My inner plagues,
That arise in the night.

You brought them,
Right to the brink,
Just can't get rid,
I just can't think!

How do you fight,
Something that's you,
Its new kind of struggle,
That I never knew.

No one told me,
It would be this hard,
To just let go,
And let down your guard.

When the person,
Who takes it all,
Comes down so hard,
They break as they fall.

What can you do,
To fix them again,
Make them whole,
Free them from pain.

Truth is,
People don't try,
They think your fine,
As you slowly die.

Learn to fix yourself,
And you'll be okay,
Can't trust people,
To take your pain away.

So pick up the pieces,
And slot them back in place,
And walk through life,
With your unbreakable grace.
