A Last Chance

by Romancing the Darker Side   Jan 30, 2007

Take a breath,
One last glance.
Look at death,
One last chance.

Stare at me,
Look at her.
Could it be
What we were?

Don't ever leave,
Like that again.
Don't ever deceive,
As when you began.

For you used to be kind,
You used to have glory,
Have a wonderful mind,
To tell it's own story.

Now you're off with her,
You've left me way back here,
Your girl with all the fake fur,
Only adds to all my fears.

So tonight I think I'll go home,
And maybe just sit and cry,
But now that I'm all alone,
Maybe I'll just die.
