Dancing in the Rain

Dancing in the rain,
So happy and free,
Slipped on the ice,
Now you've broken me.

Behind glass,
I'm caged in,
You won't let me out,
Beyond my own skin.

I tried so hard,
To just get out,
Let me go,
I'd scream and shout.

I used to wish,
Someone would find,
Me sitting here,
Lost within my mind.

But now I know,
I won't leave this brain,
And never again will I,
Dance in the rain.
