Due To You

by Eman D   Jan 30, 2007

I wake up today,
knowing your going to kill me once more.
No matter what I say,
I'll have to pick up my broken pieces from the floor.

I'll dig through the trash can,
to get back my dreams you threw out.
My life is your failed oh so important plan.
I eat, sleep, and breath your doubt.

I'll go to the cemetery,
to morn the 1,000 deaths you made me go through.
My courage is what I try to unbury.
I leave flowers next to tombs of promises you said would stay true.

Everyday is the same old routine.
Each passing day is nothing new.
Shed tears for whats permanently gone.
Look for what I lost due to you.
