Beautiful

by Frank Welter   Jan 31, 2007

What are you looking at?
What do you see?
You don't know who I am
You don't understand me.
Who are you to call me ugly?
You don't even know my name.
You don't know a thing about me
And it's such a shame,
That you take one look at me,
And without a second thought
You say the one for you
I am not.
So you can go on with your life
Ever so pitiful.
Because I know, inside more than you,
I am beautiful.

Well said! it's the inner beauty that matters. I wish everybody knew that.
