A dream of a memory

Last night while I lay thinking here,
I thought about all the memories we've shared.
And of course our favorite one came to mind.

Sitting on the shores of a deep blue paradise,
listening to the waves melt into the shore.
The wind blew smoothly that evening,
as the sun began to set in the horizion.

It felt as if time had stopped,
if only for a moment,
as you entwined your fingers throught mine.

The bright fire streaked the ocean,
and the feeling of love warmed my soul.
like the warm rays of fire on a cold winters day.

I slept soundly that evening,
as I dreamed of our never forgotten firey,blue paradise.
