Everything had been perfect
just the way it should be
with you by my side
your arms around me

at the time i didn't know
what was on your mind
later on i would find out
but at the moment i was blind

one day came along
the one that would change me
then i figured it all out
i finally could see

i tried to ignore it
act like nothings wrong
but now that i knew
it was hard to act fine all along

one night i confronted you
about this one thing
you didn't try to lie
you said it was true,which hit me with a sting

we tried to talk
and work it out
but i knew it would never work
so i ended it, but with doubt

days went by slowly
after that one night
i tried to be happy
after that little fight

he seemed sad at first
but then moved on
for he got what he wanted
and then he was gone

one thing that splitted us
was what brought us together
its half my fault
and it will stick with me forever

some friendships had been lost
but slowly had been gained
i realize what i did
was wrong but left unexplained

now when i see him
i see untrust written on his face
for he left me for a girl
who gave up on him with disgrace

maybe i got some parts wrong
and maybe none of this is true
but i will leave it in my past
just wait and see if it happens to you
